Go Behind the Scenes of Hip-Hop with Masta Ace & Edo G's Upcoming "Little Young" Video and “Arts & Entertainment” Album Collaboration

Rappers Masta Ace & Edo G form Arts & Entertainment.  Preview “Behind the Scenes:  Little Young Video”:  Album Releases - 11/3/09.

It’s time to gear up for the unveiling of Arts & Entertainment, the much anticipated and long-awaited upcoming album by hip-hop pioneers Masta Ace & Edo G, also known as (A&E).  Die hard rap fans and newcomers to the genre alike will dig their teeth deeply into this one, especially since the album’s original release date had to be pushed back to November 3, 2009.  People are already standing in lines across the globe for this one and just can’t wait for it to hit and for good reason.  Follow the link to get your copy of the new slamming CD, Arts and Entertainment.

When the likes of music royalty like these guys join creative forces to make music, the end result is never anything short of magic.  The rap group is made up of two high-ranking hip-hip all-stars who are by no means newbies to this music genre’.  Neither Masta Ace nor Edo G are strangers to "Arts & Entertainment" Album Covertopping the charts in the name of rap.  Both recording artists have been primary architects laying the groundwork upon which good rap music has been built.   Upcoming album Arts & Entertainment is promised to display all of the lessons learned along the way.

Masta Ace has been very well-known in hip-hop circles for a long time, 1988 to be exact.  That year also marks the time he graduated University of Rhode Island.  Ace met top hip-hop producer Marley Marl the prior year on a summer break from school and recorded The Symphony, along with other Juice Crew members Big Daddy Kane, Kyle Harris, and Kool G Rap on Marley Marl’s In Control album.

The album went on to become hailed as a hip-hop anthem and is still respected as such to this very day.  Masta Ace was also one of the members of popular groups Lords of the Underground and Crooklyn Dodgers, who recorded the title song, "Crooklyn," for Spike Lee’s movie Crooklyn in 1994.  The group Crooklyn Dodgers was created specifically for Spike Lee’s film.  Other group members included Buckshot from the rap trio Black Moon and rapper Special Ed.  Follow the links to get Crooklyn: Music From The Motion Picture (Volume 1) and Crooklyn: Music From The Motion Picture (Volume 2).

Edo G, whose given name is Edward Anderson is a high-stepper himself when it comes to being a legend in hip-hop history.  This rap pioneer released his first album, "Life of a Kid in the Ghetto" with his former group, Da Bulldogs in 1991.  Hit single, I Got to Have It, topped international charts.  G. is also a hot producer and has worked with other hit-makers of the same ilk.  Some of the chart-toppers with whom Edo G has worked are Black Thought of the group The Roots, Guru, Tajai & Casual of Hieroglyphics, and DJ Premier of Gang Starr, among others.

On November 3, 2009, the world will enjoy a taste of hip-hop old-school mixed with new-school fire.  The flames have been lit by A&E and the new album, Arts & Entertainment will be available for all within earshot.  With very little prestidigitation required, an indelible hit results from the blending of natural talent.  This album is bound to be such an example.

Enjoy this video, “Behind the Scenes:  Little Young.”  It takes a look at Arts & Entertainment’s soon to be released music video for the track “Little Young,” directed by Steven Tapia and includes appearances from DOITALL (Lords Of The Underground), Roman Oben (NFL's San Diego Chargers) and Masta Ace's do it yourself Grill Kit.  For more information, go to Arts & Entertainment’s website.
