Divalicious recently nominated this blog for a Kreativ Blog Award, which is a really cool meme.  This prestigious award is given to bloggers who publish ingenius, informative, entertaining pop culture blogs that are also viewed as visually appealing. 

The Kreativ Blog Award is quite similar to our Pop Culture Bloggie Award.

Then the onus is on that blogger to share seven things they love with their readers.  Upon doing that, they are asked to nominate other bloggers who they think also fit the bill.

Get The First Single From Michael Jackson's This Is It CD. It's The Bomb.

This is a beautiful day!  The sky is blue, love is in the air, and you can listen to Michael Jackson's latest single, "This Is It," right here on Enspyre 1 American Pop Culture Blog!  It was just released today and we have it!  This song has never been released before and as a true M.J. fan, I can honestly say, without reservation, that it is absolutely awesome!  The song is reminiscent of a breath of fresh, morning air in the springtime.  I do declare.

The album, "This Is It," goes right along with the film, "This Is It."  It will be released on vinyl on November 10.  The CD is due for a worlwide release on October 26 and 27, depending on your country.  The movie will be released in theaters on October 28.

Here is the information from Michael Jackson's Sony Music Website on the album:

Disc one features the original album masters of some of Michael's biggest hits arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of the never-released "This Is It." This song is featured in the film's closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons.

Disc two offers previously unreleased versions of some of the artist's classic tracks. This disc also features a touching spoken word poem from Michael Jackson entitled "Planet Earth" that has never been heard before.

This four disc vinyl set also includes an oversized 36-page booklet of photographs taken at Michael Jackson's final rehearsal.  Play the video below and listen to the single "This Is It."   Also, listen to it on the official Michael Jackson website.   The entire song is delicious!

Kanye West Is A Thief!: Sentencing Date Unknown

Kanye West is well known for a number of things, good and bad.  The good that he's known for is the music.  He's quite talented and touted as one of the best.  Kanye will definitely go down in American pop culture history and the story of hip-hop for all to see.  The bad that he's known for grows by the day.  It was just a month or so ago when Kanye named himself The New King of Pop since Michael Jackson's untimely death.  How tacky, to say the least.  But King Kanye is known as a great rapper, performer, and trendsetter.  Kanye is also known for his musical greatness, that's for sure.  He's also known for being a thorn in the sides of many.  This is due largely in part to his outspokenness.  Who can blame an intelligent man for having an opinion,  really?

But it looks like this time Kanye has gone just a bit too far.  Last night at the MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards) at Radio City Music Hall in New York, sensational country chanteuse, Taylor Swift was ever-so-graciously saying her, "Thank yous."  She won the award for Best Female Video for her ballad, "You Belong to Me," up against such musical greats as Beyonce' for "Put A Ring on It."

Well low-and-behold, up jumps Kanye like a madman!  He jumps onstage, rudely snatches the microphone from young Taylor Swift like a thief in the night, stealing this young woman's moment, and begins yelling.  He then says to seventeen-year-old Swift, "I'm really happy for you.  I'm going to let you finish.  But Beyonce' had one of the best videos of all time."   West is basically insinuating that Beyonce' should have won instead of Taylor Swift!  TO HER FACE!  Let's also remember this young woman's age.  She's just a kid.

How rude is that?  When does it end?  When is it no longer okay to just do and say whatever one wants to?  It's high time for Mr. West to stop this madness.  We've all put up with his grade-school misbehavior for far too long.  We've laughed.  We've giggled.  We've enjoyed the publicity stunts.  But hey, now it's tired.  It's really tired.  When you step on the feet of kids like Taylor Swift and rob them of their precious moments, during which we should really be celebrating their accomplishments, it's time for someone to  step up and say, "Stop!  No more!"  Where's Kanye's mentor?  This isn't cute anymore.

The foks in the audience, by-and-large weren't having it and took every opportunity they could to boo this dude each time his name was mentioned thereafter in his absentia.  Oh yes, West got ghost after acting a fool obviously. He was asked to leave this time.  People get tired of such ignorance.  Beyonce' is such a lady.  She displayed tremendous grace, style, and class later in the evening when accepting the highest honor of the evening.  She took home the Video of The Year Award for "Single Ladies."  The most beautiful and redemptive thing that could have happened regarding this whole mess happened when accepting this award, Beyonce' ever-so-graciously invited Taylor Swift back onstage to finish what she started earlier.  Now she could thank her colleagues, family, and friends.  What a lovely time to be alive. By the way, her hubby Jay-Z and Alicia Keys tore it up at the show's end.  What was Lil' Mama doing.  She's a great dancer, don't get me wrong.  I just didn't know she was onstage until the very end when it was time to take a bow.  Can anyone fill me in on how she snuck onstage without anyone noticing?  Do tell.  Whenever I can hear Alicia Keys twinkle on those piano keys and sing, I'm happy!

Kanye West has robbed one too many!  What say you?  Weigh in on this one.

This Kanye thievery will NOT overshadow Janet's tribute to her brother Michael, who I just happen to adore.  She came out dangeeeeeeeeerous!  I'll tell you more on bright morrow.  Lemon slices please!

The Scandal Never Ends Over Michael Jackson: The King of Pop Sighted!

What a glorious day it is!  Happy Labor Day to you one and all!  Hopefully you're still enjoying family and friends while eating delicious barbecue and drinking red kool-aid.

He Lives On!

Hey, the great news is that my favorite all-star is back!   The King of Pop himself is back and in full effect!  Millions of loving Elvis Presley fans have reported Elvis sightings stating, "Elvis Is Alive!"  Well we now know that Michael Jackson is alive too!  No, I'm not going looney bird on you.  No, I'm not talking about our other friend Kanye West either, although we love that "King of Pop" (tongue in cheek) also.  Michael Joseph Jackson, the real deal himself is going to be on the big screen once again at Disneyland Resort in Anahiem, CA, just like he would want to be.

For true fans like who didn't just get on the Michael Jackson bandwagon since his death, this is wonderful news.  We miss him dearly!  It's said that Jackson's science fiction movie Captain EO will return to Disneyland Parks in January.  The big budget, 3D fantasy musical, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, was produced by George Lucas.  It also starred the beautiful Angelica Houston (lucky woman).  Captain Eo originally showed at Disneyland in the 1980s and 19990s.

The best part of all of this is that The Disney Corporation has decided to show this phenomenal film again in response to large public outcry.  Tens of thousands of people have signed petions both offline and online at websites like PetitionSpot, GoPetition, and MySpace.  As always, MJJ's fans will stop at nothing to get what we want!  We'll never again hear this great American Pop Culture icon sing such major international hit songs as Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean, and Man In The Mirror live, but hey, sometimes we have to take what we can get.  I know we didn't get to see Michael perform on his "This Is It Tour," which he planned to kick off in London at the O2 Arena for a series of fifty shows, due to his untimely death, but here's the good news.  Captain EO, here we come!
